As you know we are trying to make this blog better and easier for all of you. That is why you now have two different methods to know when new updates are posted.
You can write your email down on the box designed for it on the right side of the blog. We will not receive any of the emails or know who is signed up for the service, it will all be send and managed by Feedburner. You will receive an email each time we post an update so you don't have to come and check everyday.
The second way available is following us on Google plus or in the blog. You will receive a notification to your google plus account or to your email. We will know who is signed up for that service.
We hope that this new change can help you and make your experience in the blog more enjoyable and easier.
The sequel of Heroes of Olimpus was published two days ago (May 3, 2016) and it is part of a collection called: The Trials of Apollo" it takes place after the events in Blood of Olympus
It is named "The hidden Oracle"and it seems it is going to be the
first book of another collection. We have already read the book and we
can assure (minor SPOILER) you that Nico Di Angelo, Leo Valdez,Calipso and other characters appear so we know more abouth what happened to them after the last book You can find two covers in the Internet. We are publishing both covers.
The offical summary is in Rick Riordan´s webpage:
How do you punish an immortal? By making him human. After angering his
father Zeus, the god Apollo is cast down from Olympus. Weak and
disoriented, he lands in New York City as a regular teenage boy. Now,
without his godly powers, the four-thousand-year-old deity must learn to
survive in the modern world until he can somehow find a way to regain
Zeus’s favor. But Apollo has many enemies—gods, monsters, and mortals
who would love to see the former Olympian permanently destroyed. Apollo
needs help, and he can think of only one place to go . . . an enclave of
modern demigods known as Camp Half-Blood

We have been reading Percy Jackson for a long time and it seems the collection never ends (we are very happy about that, mind you, because PJO is one of the best collections in the world).
Annd it looks like this journey continues, the second book has already been anounced!
It will be called "The dark prophecy" and the planned release date is May the 2nd 2017
(a whole year. noooooooo). We don´t know yet how the cover will look like but there was a little summary in Rick Riordan´s webpage. The summary: (extract from the webpage) Zeus has punished his son Apollo–god of the sun, music, archery, poetry,
and more–by casting him down to earth in the form of a gawky,
acne-covered sixteen-year-old mortal named Lester. The only way Apollo
can reclaim his rightful place on Mount Olympus is by restoring several
Oracles that have gone dark. What is affecting the Oracles, and how can
Apollo/Lester do anything about them without his powers? After
experiencing a series of dangerous–and frankly, humiliating–trials at
Camp Half-Blood, Lester must now leave the relative safety of the
demigod training ground and embark on a hair-raising journey across
North America. Fortunately, what he lacks in godly graces he’s gaining
in new friendships–with heroes who will be very familiar to fans of the
Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus series. Come along
for what promises to be a harrowing, hilarious, and haiku-filled ride
